Trevor Hoppe
Trevor Hoppe is currently attending the University of Michigan, enduring the cruel winters to get his PhD in the joint program
in Sociology and Women's Studies. He's be dreaming of "Beyond Masculinity" for years, since he began taking Women's Studies clases
at the University of North Carolina and became frustrated with the lack of feminist analyses by and for men -- particularly queer men.
He has a Masters in Human Sexuality Studies from San Francisco State Univeristy, but is first and foremost a Southern boy. His current
work focuses on gay men's sexual cultures, HIV prevention, and community formation. In his spare time, he tries to keep his blog up at
TrevorHoppe.com, as well as his newly created
